Saskatchewan flooded out
|
It’s not news that Saskatchewan’s had major flooding this year, but it was striking flying over it last weekend. I’m used to seeing the green and yellow patchwork of fields, but now it looks like somebody’s taken a paintbrush and some black paint and splattered it all over the view. There’s water everywhere and the [...] |
I stand corrected. Something else for Clement to fix.
| I wrote in an earlier blog post that the rest of the data coming from Stats Canada would be called into question if the hyperventilating from the experts cited by other media were true.
From the earlier post
Postmedia, the people that used to be called CanWest, quote Ivan Fellegi, a man who worked at Stats [...] |

His own words: StatsCan chief resigns over census flap
"I want to take this opportunity to comment on a technical statistical issue which has become the subject of media discussion. This relates to the question of whether a voluntary survey can become a substitute for a mandatory census. It can not. Under the circumstances, I have tendered my resignation to the Prime Minister." |

CBC is unhinged over WikiLeaks
| The CBC has truly lost its collective mind over the WikiLeaks release of the Afghan war logs. Despite denials from the families involved, despite denials from military officials and readily available eyewitness accounts, CBC continues to pretend that perhaps, just maybe the government is lying and four Canadian soldiers were killed by an American bomb.
