The Winter Meetings have just kicked off in Dallas and White Sox general manager Kenny Williams has quite a bit on his plate. Williams is usually low-key during these meetings but this year should be an interesting one for the South Side. Carlos Quentin will most likely be a hot topic this week. The right-handed slugger has been shopped around since the trading deadline and it’s about time he finds a home somewhere else. The Atlanta Braves or the San Diego Padres could be a great fit for Quentin and both teams have plenty to offer the Sox in return. [...]

Gore broke the record on a two-yard run that put him over Perry’s 7,344 yards. Perry’s 7,344 yards do not include the 1,345 yards he rushed for when the 49ers were a part of the All-America Football Conference.
